SHORT VISIT TO THE INKAS

1st day    International arrival to Lima

2nd day    A visit to the spanish colonial city of Lima including the San Francisco Church and the Main Square.

3rd day    Early flight to Cusco. You will have the rest of the morning to rest to acclimate to the altitude: 11,300 ft.  Sightseeing tour of the city.

4th day    Departure by train to the Lost City of the Inkas: Machu Picchu. Late return to Cusco.

5th day    Morning flight to Lima. Rest of the day at leisure

6th day    International departure

 

GRAND TOUR OF THE INKAS

1st day    International arrival to Lima.

2nd day    A visit to the spanish colonial city of Lima including the San Francisco Church and the Main Square. A visit to the Larco Herrera Museum that houses more than 20,000 artifacts from pre-columbian period to colonial times.

3rd day    Early flight to Cusco. You will have the rest of the morning to rest to acclimate to the altitude: 11,300 ft.  Sightseeing tour of the city.

4th day    Departure by train to the Lost City of the Inkas: Machu Picchu.                Overnight at Aguas Calientes town, at the base of the Citadel.

5th day    Morning free to explore the area of Aguas Calientes. Afternoon  return to Cusco.

6th day    Departure to the Lake Titicaca.

7th day    Visit the Uros floating islands and enjoy the magnificent plateau. Flight to Lima.

8th day     Departure by express bus to Ica. Overflight the lines of Nasca

9th day    Transfer to Paracas to board the boat to Ballestas Islands where you will can get up close and personal with Pacific Ocean wildlife. Bring plenty of film or a huge memory card for your camera. Afternoon return to Lima by express bus.

10th day     At leisure (you can visit the Indian Market and get some souvenirs)

11th day      International departure
