You will have an opportunity to ride on the highest railroad in the Andes (Central Railroad of Peru, now operated as a Central Andino Railroad). This spectacular railroad features 68 tunnels, 61 bridges, 9 switchbacks, and a 15,681 ft. a.s.l. pass. An optional day in Huancayo to ride the Huancayo-Huancavelica railroad. A return daylight train ride will return us to Lima. After a day for sightseeing you will catch a flight to Cusco, Peru the former Capital of the Inka Empire.
